Navi Privacy Policy

Version 1.2 - Last revised on October 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy (this "Policy") describes how Sharey, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the websites located at www.textnavi.com and www.layovermaxxing.com (each and together, the "Site") and the Navi personal assistant service, which communicates with you via iMessage, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, and other messaging channels (together with the Site, the "Service"). This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Service.

Our commitments, in plain English:

  • We do not sell your personal information. Our only revenue is your subscription.
  • We do not use your messages or personal information to train AI models.
  • We never share your mobile opt-in information for marketing. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Your conversations are never used for advertising. We store your messages so Navi can remember the context of your conversation, but we never sell them or share them with advertisers. Our only advertising technology is a Meta Pixel on textnavi.com, used solely to measure and deliver our own ads on Meta's platforms (see Section 1.3).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account and contact information, including your name, mobile phone number, email address, and timezone, provided when you create an account or start messaging Navi. You sign in to the Site using the phone number you use to message Navi.
  • Message content, meaning the messages you send to Navi and Navi's responses. Because of how Navi works, your messages may include information about your schedule and events, the places you are going (such as origin and destination addresses), your timing preferences, items you want to remember, and your preferred maps app. You choose what to tell Navi. Please do not send Navi sensitive information such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, or health information. We store your messages and Navi's responses as conversation history so that Navi can use your earlier messages as context when it responds to you, as AI assistants generally do. With each request, relevant parts of your conversation history are sent to our AI providers for this purpose only. We do not sell your messages, and we do not use them for advertising.
  • Location information you choose to share, as described in Section 1.4 below.
  • Payment information. Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Site, and payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Your payment card details are provided by you directly to Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number. We receive limited billing information such as subscription status and transaction confirmations. Stripe's use of your information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Support communications, including the contents of emails or messages you send us for help.
  • Trip planning information, such as airports, flight times, layover length, starting locations, destinations, and trip preferences you enter into the trip planner on layovermaxxing.com. You can use the planner without an account; see Section 4 for how long guest plans are kept.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Messaging metadata, such as your phone number, the messaging channel used (e.g., iMessage, SMS, WhatsApp), message timestamps, and delivery status, received through our third-party messaging providers.
  • Site usage data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referral source, and timestamps, collected when you visit the Site.
  • Service usage data, such as the features you use, reminder outcomes, and interaction patterns (for example, whether reminders tend to result in on-time departures), which Navi may use to adjust the timing of your reminders.
  • Tracked link data. Some links we share, such as links in our ads, social media posts, and on the Site, are tracked. When you click one, we record only which link was clicked, the page it was clicked from, and the time. These link records do not include your name, phone number, or other personal information.

1.3 Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Pixel

Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies on the Site to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and make the Site work. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect Site functionality.

Analytics. We measure usage of textnavi.com and layovermaxxing.com with our own internal analytics, which we operate ourselves rather than through third-party analytics services. This includes Site usage data and tracked link data described in Section 1.2. We do not use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics on either site.

Meta Pixel (partner-based advertising only). textnavi.com uses the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"). We use it only for partner-based advertising: to measure how our ads on Meta's platforms (such as Instagram and Facebook) perform and to help Meta show our ads to people who may be interested in Navi. When you visit textnavi.com, the pixel may collect information such as your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you visit, and actions you take on the page, and Meta may use it under its own privacy policy. The Meta Pixel is not installed on layovermaxxing.com. We do not send Meta the content of your messages with Navi, your location, or your text messaging opt-in data.

Your choices. Some state privacy laws treat advertising pixels like this one as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or "targeted advertising." To the extent they do, you may opt out by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, which we honor on textnavi.com, or by emailing privacy@textnavi.com with the subject "Do Not Share." You can also manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, which are different from GPC.

1.4 Location Information

Navi uses the location information you provide in your messages, such as the addresses or place names of where you are and where you are going, to estimate travel times and generate navigation links.

You may also optionally choose to share your device location with Navi (for example, through your device's location sharing features) to enable more accurate reminders, departure times, navigation links, and arrival confirmations. Sharing your device location is entirely optional and is not required to use the Service. If you share your location, we use it solely to provide the Service to you: we do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising or marketing purposes, and we do not use it for any purpose other than operating the Service. You can stop sharing your location at any time through your device settings, and you may request deletion of previously collected location data as described in Section 6. Where required by applicable law, we treat precise location information as sensitive personal information and limit its use to providing the Service you request.

We may also derive your general geographic area (such as your city) from your IP address when you visit the Site.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide and operate the Service, including understanding your requests, scheduling and sending reminders and departure alerts, checking traffic and weather conditions and adjusting departure times, generating navigation links, confirming arrivals where you have chosen to share your location, and maintaining continuity across your conversations so Navi can reference your events and preferences;
  • Process your requests using artificial intelligence. Your messages are processed by third-party AI providers acting on our behalf in order to generate Navi's responses. We do not use your messages or personal information to train or improve AI models;
  • Manage your account and billing, including your free trial, subscription, renewals, and cancellation;
  • Communicate with you, including service messages, account and security notices, and, with your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), promotional messages;
  • Advertise the Service, limited to measuring and delivering our own ads on Meta's platforms through the Meta Pixel on textnavi.com, as described in Section 1.3;
  • Improve and secure the Service, including analyzing aggregated usage, diagnosing and fixing problems, preventing fraud and abuse, and enforcing our Terms of Service;
  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, resolve disputes, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Company, our users, and others.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We never share your messages, conversation history, location, or text messaging opt-in data for advertising. We disclose information only as follows:

  • Service Providers. We share information with vendors that process it on our behalf and only as needed to provide the Service, subject to confidentiality and security obligations. These include: third-party messaging providers that transmit messages between you and Navi; artificial intelligence providers that process your messages on our behalf to generate Navi's responses; mapping (such as Apple Maps and Google Maps), traffic, and weather data providers (such as Apple WeatherKit), which receive the origin, destination, or location information needed to estimate travel times, check conditions, and generate navigation links; cloud hosting and infrastructure providers; and Stripe for payment processing.
  • Third parties at your direction. When you tap a navigation link, the destination information is passed to your chosen maps app (Google Maps or Apple Maps), and that provider's privacy policy applies. Your wireless carrier and messaging platform (e.g., Apple, WhatsApp) also process your messages in transit under their own policies.
  • Advertising partner. Meta receives the information collected by the Meta Pixel on textnavi.com, as described in Section 1.3, for partner-based advertising of our own Service.
  • Legal disclosures. We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process, or where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights, property, or safety of Company, our users, or the public, or detect and prevent fraud or security issues.
  • Business transfers. If Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • Aggregated or de-identified information. We may use and share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
  • With your consent, for any other purpose you authorize.

Mobile opt-in data: notwithstanding anything above, text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data is shared only with our messaging service providers as necessary to deliver the Service.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service to you, comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting requirements), resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements. Conversation history is retained while your account is active so that Navi can maintain context. When you delete your account, or when information is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for the legitimate purposes described above.

Guest plans. Trip plans created on layovermaxxing.com that are never sent to Navi are automatically deleted approximately 24 hours after they are created. If you send a plan to Navi, it becomes part of your conversation history and is retained as described above.

5. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and the messaging accounts through which you communicate with Navi. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will investigate and, where required by law, notify you and/or regulators without undue delay.

6. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

6.1 Access, Correction, and Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@textnavi.com or texting your request to Navi. To delete your account and associated personal information, contact us as above; we will complete verified deletion requests within the time required by applicable law (and in any event within 30 days for account deletion), subject to the retention exceptions in Section 4.

6.2 Location Sharing Choices

If you have chosen to share your device location with Navi, you can stop sharing at any time through your device settings, after which we will no longer receive new location data from your device. You may also request deletion of previously collected location data as described above.

6.3 Messaging Choices

You may stop all messages from Navi, including recurring alerts such as daily weather or traffic alerts, at any time by replying STOP, and you may opt out of promotional messages without affecting service messages. See Section 6 of our Terms of Service for details.

6.4 Email Choices

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails via the link in any such email. You cannot opt out of essential service and billing communications while you have an active account.

6.5 U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and others with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to: (a) know/access the personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; (b) correct inaccurate personal information; (c) delete your personal information; (d) obtain a portable copy; (e) opt out of "sales," "sharing"/targeted advertising, and certain profiling (note: we do not sell personal information or engage in such profiling, and our only advertising technology is the Meta Pixel on textnavi.com described in Section 1.3, which you can opt out of as described there); (f) limit the use of sensitive personal information (note: we use sensitive information, such as precise location you choose to share, only to provide the Service you request); and (g) not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. California residents may also request information under the CCPA/CPRA about the categories of personal information collected and disclosed, which are described in Sections 1 through 3 of this Policy.

To exercise these rights, contact privacy@textnavi.com. We will verify your identity before responding, typically by confirming control of the phone number or email associated with your account, and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may appeal a denial by replying to our decision, and you may authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law.

6.6 Automated Processing

Navi uses automated processing, including AI, to understand your messages, generate responses, and time your reminders (including sending earlier reminders if you are frequently running late). We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact privacy@textnavi.com.

8. International Users

The Service is intended for users located in the United States. Your information is processed and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service contains links to and integrates with third-party services, including Google Maps, Apple Maps, Stripe, Meta, and your messaging platform, that are not operated by us. This Policy does not apply to third-party services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every third-party service you use, including your maps provider and messaging platform.

Guides on layovermaxxing.com may include third-party photographs used under Creative Commons or other licenses, with credit given where the license requires it, and maps based on third-party map data and imagery, including Google Maps. If a page displays Google Maps content, Google may receive information such as your IP address under Google's privacy policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last revised" date above. If we make material changes, including any future collection of new categories of data such as calendar data, we will provide prominent notice (such as by message or email, or by prominent posting on the Site) before the changes take effect and obtain any consent required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
